In late 2023, I helped The Rights to build their music licensing platform into a more performant and user-friendly product.

Simplifying the process of licensing music for commercial use, meant streamlining long and complex legal documents into a user-friendly interface for both licensors and creators.

After months of building and refining form and procedures, we automated and batched most of the complex process into a few simple steps.

The repetitive paperwork process that usually lasted over 3 weeks, now can take less than 2 days to complete.

Technical

The frontend of this web app was built in React on TypeScript using the Next framework and styled with Sass. A Python backend supports the frontend via a REST API.
